54/365: Oh, the Sun!

About an hour before sunset the sun came out -- well sort of. I grabbed my camera just to play a little, but was very pleased with the results. The clouds in the foreground shilohetted against the sun seemed to turn into storm clouds. In the second, photo I did bump the color saturation up a smidgen in PhotoShop Elements.

53/365: Take a Seat

I know some of you are sick of the snow & cold, but we haven't had much so I am not. When I heard we should expect 6-10 inches, I was pretty excited. The storm stayed further south than originally thought so we ended up with about 4 inches. I was a bit sad. :(

41/365: Snow "Overhang"

I'm posting the last one not only for reference where the snow is hanging down, but also because of how many basketball hoops there are in a row. You can pretty easily make out 5 in this size, but in the original resolution you can see a sixth behind the one clear on in the back. It's odd how you can look at something every day & not really see it until to look at it in a photo.

I picked up these books just before Christmas. It is my plan to take up this method of bread making soon and replace store bought bread with home baked!
